DATS Software 2023.1: Welcome to the Latest Version

We are pleased to inform you of the release of the latest version of our software, DATS 2023.1. This launch marks the adoption of a new identification protocol, where we will use the year of release and a numerical increment to denote each version. This is partly in preparation for the DATS V8 software currently being developed.

The 2023.1 release contains the DATS 7.0.37 software. Under this updated system, we will be providing two main DATS software updates annually in April and September, tagged as .1 and .2 respectively. This change aims to improve consistency in our release strategy and ensure our users are provided with a clear roadmap of our software development.

The DATS Software 2023.1 version includes new features, enhancements, and bug fixes, all of which can be found in the release notes accompanying the update. The DATS-Acquisition suite has seen several modifications in this release, including support for strain gauge bridge factors, real-time differentiation support, additional graphical & overlay displays, and Matlab export for DATS-core users.

This update also extends the capabilities of the existing 4x CAN port version of the DATS-CANetic system, introducing wireless control for DATS-tetrad over Wifi, 45, or 5G.

In addition to these features, we have improved the DATS capture and analysis functions, including updates to the user interface, hardware power management, and IEPE support, to create a more streamlined user experience.

The release of DATS 2023.1 reflects our continuous commitment to robust and reliable software development. We look forward to improving our users’ experience through this latest software release.
