Prosig has had a long history of participation in the events and committees of the Engineering Integrity Society (EIS) in the UK and we are now proud to announce our corporate membership.
The Engineering Integrity Society is a long established charitable society focusing on structural integrity, sound & vibration product perception and test & simulation and data measurement for practising engineers and engineering researchers.
The EIS offers a unique forum for industrial engineers to exchange ideas and experience. Since its foundation in 1985 the Society has made an important contribution to engineering science, holding major National and International Conferences, organising and coordinating specialist task groups and presenting technical seminars.
The society organises seminars, exhibitions and training programmes, which are valued for their informal yet informed character. An Instrumentation, Test and Measurement exhibition is held annually, including forums on topics of current interest to engineers. The EIS offers support for to help companies get the best from their investment in testing, design and people.
The Society is made up of three groups:
- Simulation Test and Measurement Group
- Durability and Fatigue Group
- Sound and Vibration Product Perception Group
Prosig is proud to provide representatives for some of these groups.
Recently, events organised by the EIS include
- Young Engineers Seminar – Test & Analysis
- Workshops on Structural Dynamics
- Fundamentals of Vehicle Data Collection
